Bridges Home Care

A division of Spectrum Generations, Bridges Home Care provides in-home services to support independent living, including housekeeping, grocery delivery, transportation, and hygiene services for seniors living at home. Also provides 24-hour medical alert services, home safety assessments, and adult day care programs.

Brunswick Housing Authority

Manages public housing and Section 8 housing choice vouchers, including senior and disabled apartments. Also offers a “Congregate Housing Service Program,” which provides residents of its three senior housing properties with additional services — including meals, housekeeping, personal care services and emergency medical services — to encourage independent living.

Coastal Trans Inc.

Maine Medical Center Geriatric Center

Outpatient geriatric programs. Services include a Falls Clinic for strength and balance, general geriatric assessments, and a dementia evaluation center.

In dementia evaluations, a collaborative team consisting of a geriatrician, nurse and social workers can make a diagnosis of dementia or memory disorder, provide information about the disease, and offer access to resources for appropriate care.
